Apologies if this has come up. I tried looking around but couldn’t find anything.
When making a non-consecutive selection using ctrl-click and then adding a playing technique, the symbol is added to all the notes in between, as if I’d made a consecutive selection. This does not happen with articulations. Is this a known issue?
It’s not a bug, but rather how playing techniques are implemented: if you select more than one note, you get a single playing technique event that spans the duration between the first and last selected notes. At the moment, this draws as multiple identical glyphs, but in due course we anticipate drawing them using lines and arrows instead. For the time being, I suggest you input them one note at a time, and then use Alt+click to copy them to other notes.
