I’ve read the Dorico 1.2 review, part 3 : Percussion on ScoringNotes.com

Is it possible to add a snare-roll as a playing technique? I have added a new Playing Technique and added a tremolo stroke to the note. Noting happend (not visible and not hearable).

Take a look at the attached project, in which you can see how it’s done: all you have to do is go to the Edit Percussion Playing Techniques dialog and assign the ‘Roll’ technique to the appropriate number of tremolo strokes.

Oke, I’ve opened and see the file. But what is the way to notate the roll? Is there a shortcut (instead to go to the tremolo box)?

There’s no way to create tremolo slashes via the keyboard at the moment, though this is something we plan for the future.
