Playing techniques additional text

Hey there!
When I’ve entered a Playing Technique—just with Shift+P—Dorico only allows me to add some additional text at the end of the technique (see “Playing Techniques” image). Is there any way to tell Dorico to set the text at the beggining? Another way would be typing this techinque with Shift+X, but its positioning wouldn’t be automatically—text typed by this command does not respect note positioning… (see “Text input” image).

No, I suggest you use Shift+X text instead for this, at least for now. It’s true that text items don’t currently avoid collisions with other items, but they will do in the next update.
