Based on several threads in the past It was my understanding that it is necessary to insert a “Natural” Playing Technique before any changing in Playing Technique. Am I correct? Is that still correct in Dorico 3?
Provided you have the mutual exclusion groups set up appropriately in your expression map (which is new in Dorico 3), then you should no longer need to have an intermediate change to ‘Natural’.
