Several VSTs have poorly named parameters when you write automation-or like in the case of VEP6 every parameter is just named “parameter 1”, “parameter 2”, etc, etc. It would be great to be able to rename automation lanes like you can tracks. I don’t mean rewriting the ones that Cubase provides (volume, etc) but for third party ones.
What’s odd is that you can rename quick controls and those populate the rack instrument knobs with those changes, but those changes don’t carry on to renaming the automation lane for those parameters.
