I use “Notepad” to contain my lyrics during composition and also for singing. It’s perfect except it’s very easy to hit the spacebar to play or record while it’s selected and get spaces on the note itself, which is frustrating. Please make it lockable?

yes I agree.
I would love to see it as a tab in the lower zone as well. With some wordpad style options such as font size, color and underline features
