Hi Dorico - whenever I dropdown the menu in Engrave I can never keep track of the musician order because it doesn’t match my Setup Players. Attached example:
I layout my instruments to orchestration standards, but the dropdown menu seems random at best.
Any update for that in version 4? Would be much appreciated while professionally engraving scores.
The center dropdown is intended to mirror the right panel, layouts. Not player order. Those two things are not necessarily the same.
Ahh I didn’t even know that there was a right panel layout. I just reorganized it so that it mirrors the player order. Thanks!
The three panels in Setup mode are for players (left), layouts (right), and flows (bottom). Here’s an introduction to how the three work together and some of the cool things you can do with them in different combinations.
