If it’s just the files that live on the hard drive, you can download many tools out there to do a backup, scheduled or manual. You don’t want Cubase to have yet another feature which may go on to break something else, system/file backup should be handled separately.
Backup should not be a Cubase feature, unless it’s about restoring a backed up project file, but audio etc, then no.
No I’m talking about the Cubase Library project system. It’s essentially a pool, that is saved like a project.
The benefit to it is, you can leave a Library Pool open while opening multiple projects. I’ll use it to keep an album organized, and to quickly allow for cross pollination of sounds, ideas, etc.
