I did lyrics for a full song at tempo 90. I had to change the tempo to 180. It is such a headache to edit the lyrics. It is literally re doing the lyrics. Please at least give us the option to de-select a lyric in the lyric window so we can move a bunch of lyrics, de-select the top line and move the rest.
or better still move lyrics on the timeline. Please fix these basic lyric editing features before moving to new features.
Lyrics are a primary use and this basic editing of lyrics really frustrates me.
… it sounds that a basic selection feature is missing here. Which one? “Select All”, “Press Ctrl Key” and select a Lyric event which should be removed from the current selection. Or “Press Ctrl Key” to add a Lyric event to the current selection. Right! This missing editing workflow has been added to the next Pre-Release coming tomorrow. Please give it a try.
… I guess you are talking about the Lyrics Track and its events in the TRACKS view? It’s already in development. Just give us a bit more time.
YES! The Ctrl key select/deselct function now works in the lyrics.

Another request would be to get the Shift key functionality for selecting lyrics from line to line. Right now they can only be dragged and selected lyrics within a page. We can’t select a line, hold SHIFT and select the last line and move things as the Shift function doesnt work.

Hoping we get color selection of lyrics soon. And the lyric editing on the time line for Christmas!
@Spork@musicullum How difficult is it to implement the ‘basic’ SHIFT Select funcionality in the lyrics window? Eg. select line 10, hold shift and select any line before or after it, thus selecting all the lines within?
