I seen some stuff - true por not true about C13. No mention of expression maps. It’s been 10 YEARS now waiting for an improved Expression map function with ability ot adjust offset per articulation.
I will be SO SO SO SO SO dissappinted if we are let down AND the whole of the composer community agree with me!

You have this wrong.
There is a huge clamour for offsets per articulation.
There are a number of threads on VI control. Including one about the next Cubase.
Currently you get a choice either use one track per articulation for an instrument and get to set the timing offset correctly, but generate silly amounts of tracks, or use one track for all articulations (for a given instrument) and not be able to set the offset individually for each articulation. Legato and staccato do not need. Third choice is to set everything manually in the key editor - a really arduos pain in the poosterior.

Also for the Attribute - Direction issue.
We (almost) always use Direction, since, by assigning Attribute, the first note will sound with the previous Articulation (not with the assigned Articulation - Attribute). The Articulation change occurs in Cubase, but the Instrument responds late. This does not happen with Direction, since you can move the Articulation change freely on the lane.
