Plug-in Environment?

Pardon me if the answer is in front of my nose, but is there/will there be a supported environment for third-party plugins/extensions? Especially in these early stages, it would be helpful to us and potentially to future development to expand Dorico’s capabilities through talented programmers in the wild.

A few non-earth shattering ones I’d love to see:

  • In-app access to syllabification dictionary/dictionaries
  • Gouldify! :laughing:
  • Steinberg forum search in-app

Dorico does contain an integrated Lua interpreter that will in the fullness of time allow the creation of plug-ins by third party developers, but at the moment the API is very much at an embryonic stage, and nothing too elaborate can yet be created. We plan to build up the API as the application matures.
