Hey folks, can’t seem to connect my plug-ins, got this error when opening a new project. I’m a newbie so not sure what went wrong. Everything is up-to-date and have everything I need installed.
Hi and welcome to the forum,
Didn’t you start Cubase in the Safe Start Mode and disabled all 3rd party plug-ins?
Hey Martin, Yes, in safe mode, and disabled all 3rd party plug-ins.
I’ve trying to get some Spitfire plugins working, the application is installed on the PC, and the VST’s are on an external SSD. I’ve opened an older project and it’s telling me it can’t find them. In the plug-in manager, I’ve tried adding the folders they are in but it can’t locate them.
Do you have Valhalla and Soundtoys installed?
Those paths you are adding are for vst2 plugins, Spitfire is VST3 I suspect pianobook maybe too? Meaning they have to be installed in the correct vst3 folder, their libraries will most likely be able to be installed elsewhere.
Sorry, just looked and I’ve seen Spitfire does still give the option to use vst2 as well, So perhaps ignore my previous post
