Plugin/Kontakt windows start flickering and Cubase becomes unresponsive

I’m having a very annoying problem with C14.

When I have more than one Kontakt 7 window open (I’m not yet sure if this is a Kontakt only thing), and tab out of Cubase and back in, the Kontakt windows sometimes start flickering like crazy. It looks like they can’t decide which of the two overlapping windows should be in the foreground and which in the background.

When this happens, Cubase is completely unresponsive and has to be killed. Even in other programs I notice an effect, as I have to click multiple times on things, because it seems they constantly lose focus. Sometimes it’s so bad that I have to force shutdown the whole PC because I can’t even use the Task Manager to close Cubase.

Anyone know what could cause this? I tried disabling GSYNC on my monitor, but that didn’t make a difference.

This is on W11. RTX 4090 with Studio Drivers.

Same here, since cubase 14. Wtth Kontakt 7. I have a rtx 3070 card. Did you find a fix for this?

What version of Kontakt 7 are you on? While I don’t have the problem anymore, I’m not 100% sure what was the fix in the end (but my suspicion is that it’s because of updating Kontakt 7 to the latest version).
