Some of the plugins I use regularly seem to default to windows scaling without any ability to save the setting and the scaling resets to 100% with every new instance.
most plugins recall the resized interface, but I’m having issues with a couple - namely IK Tonex and STL Amphub.
Having to resize them manually each time gets really old and annoying very quickly
I’m on windows 11, 2.5k resolution and my system scaling is 100%, and I obviously don’t want to change it. is there any way I can force those couple of plugins into 150% and SAVE this setting so its consistent upon recall?
the scaling option is missing from the header/function drop down menu.
Scaling is handled differently between each plugin vendor. Some remember the last setting and write it e.g. to some global configuration file, some have a settings menu/pane with an option to set the default size, while others only save it as part of the preset or the current plugin state.
If the plugin has no preference setting anywhere, you can try scaling the plugin to your desired size, then save that as the default preset in Cubase.
If that doesn’t work either, you might want to reach out to the plugin developer.
Ironically (or rather annoyingly), even Steinberg’s own Supervision doesn’t save its current size anywhere and you have to resize it every time you load it…
