Make plugin search results list automatically activate so we can use keyboard arrows to select plugin instantly.
Works for me in cubase 14.
In cubase 13 it was broken but got fixed with the maintenance updates.
When let’s say you create a new instrument track, the pop up window setting your track appears. There you can choose your VSTi. You start typing the first letters of the plugin you’re after and the list is reduced. On that moment we should be able to use just the arrows of our keyboard to navigate to the plugin we were looking for.
I’m pretty sure, I can do that!
Ok, just realised what the bug is. I had my key commands set to Logic Pro preset and for a reason arrow keys aren’t working. When resetting key commands by setting them back to defaults the arrows works like in your case. So it’s a bug…
Awesome! Good to know for the future.
In the LogicPro preset, the Navigate→Up/Down commands default to Alt+Up/Down. We can always alter that.
This is not the default navigation keys on Logic Pro Just arrows. For regular navigation tasks I mean. Anyway, it can be modified of course which is great in any case!
