Plugin to determine what other plugin does EQ wise

Hello,

a while ago, I saw a youtube video. Unfortunately, I dont find it anymore but I think it was about CLA vocals.

He inserted a plugin A (that plugin probably sent through resp. generated all frequencies between 20 Hz and 20 kHz) that showed a straight line from 20Hz to 20khz.

After that plugin A, he inserted the CLA vocals plugin without any effect on.

After the CLA vocals, he inserted plugin B that showed the same EQ diagram. You could see that CLA vocals, even with any effect turned off, did a slight change to very low and very high frequencies. If you added some treble in the CLA vocals, you could see that some high frequencies were added when you looked at the output of plugin B in that chain.

So with this plugin, you could somehow find out what the plugin in the middle does EQ wise. Of course, you can not tell whether it’s distortion or just EQ changes, but you could also tell if the plugin does something if all effects are turned off.

Do you know what plugin can do this?

Best Regards

You mean this?

thanks yes it was something similar. I just checked the Bertom Audio EQ Curve. Either it was this one or something nearly exactly like this. That’s cool.
