plugins crashing/freezing

Hi Experts,

I have just installed the 6.5.4 update with windows 7 64GB ram intel i7.

the problem i’m having is that my native instruments plugins become unresponsive after only a few minutes of use. also, I have to shut the daw down from the task manager in order to get it to close. Is there something I can do to fix this problem?

Have you trashed the preferences since the update?
