Dear Dorico Software Engineers,
Would it be possible to use plural names for section players and condensed players?
The plural names tab is already available but only singular names are always used.
Currently I have to use workaround changing instrument names to plural in singular tab and then change player name which is a bit tedious.
I believe it should be quite easy to implement considering plural names are already prepared but I may be wrong.
I would be very grateful for that feature. 
Hi Wawrzyniec! IIRC, plural names have been there since day one (19th octobre 2016), so if it were easy to implement, they would already be implemented… but yes, it would be really nice to see those really used.
I assumed it was just considered nice to have and given low priority but as I wrote I may be wrong
We were told at that time that those would be used in the future, but we’re still waiting for it 
That’s why I suspect it’s not easy at all to implement, but just like you, I may be wrong.
I recall I found that post some time ago (like 2-3 years ago) so I thought it may be worth creating a new one to check if there are any new plans in that subject.
This is a thread coming from times where no manual was available and you can see that nothing has changed in regard with plural names…
The newest response in that thread is from 2016 
That’s what I told you! It’s been there since day 1 and still has not been used in a divisi or condensed implementation. That’s why I think it’s quite problematic at some point…
