Popover error: ignore vs. audible signal

It would be nice if all the popovers would sound something non-musical if the user types in an error. For example, today I meant to put in a time signature, but while looking down and working fast, hit Shift-K (for key signature instead of Shift-M for meter), then “4/4,1”. Of course, that’s meaningless for a key signature, and Dorico can’t parse it, and thus ignores it.

Anyway there can be an audible signal when Dorico ignores input? And make it so the user can toggle this feature off, since others may not like it?

LOL, we discussed this 3 years ago here. I still think it’s a good idea and would love to see this implemented.
