There’s this new option for Hyphenated Text in Gradual Dynamics:
It would be nice to have the same options for Gradual Tempo text like rit - ar- dan -do, and also for the line vertical position (Baseline or Half x-height).

Sorry for nitpicking: the correct hyphenation is ri-tar-dan-do.
(And as was reported earlier: diminuendo has 5 syllables, not 4.)
