Possibility of Score to Midi Function from Legacy Editor?

I’ve been using Cubase since the 1980s and utilize the score editor extensively. While I appreciate the integration with Dorico, been with it since the beginning of its development, I have a request that I hope can be implemented or if already present, revealed to me. I’m referring to the “Score to MIDI” feature found in Cubase v13 and earlier. I often utilize the many powerful display features to make a part look legible, then select all and utilize score to midi to change all of the midi data to match the visual.

Any chance I’ve missed this feature in the new editor, if not could it be quickly implemented?

Thx in advance

Jay

I also hope that features of the old Score Editor are implemented in Cubase 14 and future versions…

Do you mean that you want to update the note positions and durations so that they are quantized to match the notation?

Yes, that’s what the feature does in versions < 14. For my workflow, an often used feature.

ITo your knowledge, is this accomplishable in the current v14?

No, this function isn’t currently implemented, but I will make a note of it.

Thank you Paul. It’s truly invaluable since some of my copies are only in transition to Dorico. An I use it cleaning up th data for some of my midi tracks that I receive when collaborating with less “tidy” composers.

Very much appreciated.
