Hi guys, i found several older threads where copy-paste bugs are mentioned, but i’m not sure if this one is already known:
I copy the 3 selected notes in the horn staff (lowest one), but pasting them in the bassoon 2 staff, i get this result (3 notes on top).
Hi @frave, this is another variant of the issues that can happen with copy paste when tuplets are involved. This is because, I think, tuplets are “containers” and if you don’t copy them as well, sometimes Dorico considers the rhythms as if they weren’t inside the “container” (in your example three sixteenth rests instead of one eight rest).
I am sure the Team is well aware of the issue.
A fast method to copy and paste without problems is to copy all the passage (including the tuplet symbols), and then delete what you don’t need.
