Possible glitch with insert mode

I don’t think anyone else has reported this:

I’ve found that when using insert mode, any following note heads that are non-standard (x cross heads in my case) are turned back into regular note heads.

Is this a glitch or is it specific to my project?

It is a glitch: copy and paste does not (yet) preserve custom notehead types, and insert operations use copy and paste under the hood.
