When I’m using Engrave mode there are some properties not aviable, only in Setup Mode. Opening Layout options in Setup mode and goto Engrave mode save me a lot of time (see screenshot).
You can leave both dialogs open at the same time: they’re non-modal. If you have a large display or multiple monitors, then this is one way you could work. You can also use the shortcuts to open Layout Options (Ctrl+Shift+L), Notation Options (Ctrl+Shift+N) and Engraving Options (Ctrl+Shift+E) from any mode.
