I’m trying to achieve being able to box some letters in a normal text, so that I can reference rehearsal marks even more clearly…is it possible to do so?
I couldn’t find a way unfortunately. as I f I select the letters I want to be boxed, highlight them, and select the rehearsal marks paragraph style (or a custom one I can easily create), Dorico turns the whole text item into that paragraph style, defeating the purpose.
It can be done if you have the Musglyphs font. (thanks @dan_kreider ) Create a character style using Musglyphs text.
Surround the A and B with square brackets, and change the character style. Or, simply use Musglyphs text for the whole text, but add the brackets around A and B. I think Musglyphs is using Academico.
any chance I can achieve the same result but preserving the font I am already using, which is Nepomuk ?
I tried Musegliph but it looks really different and also messes up the spacing of the words I have written…
I did manage to do it with 3 separate text objects but it would be really messy and not efficient at all, since I’ll be using this types of instructions a lot
