Is it possible to create a first-ending bracket over a single bar, with custom text, and no second ending bracket? It’s for graphical purposes only - no playback. I’ve attached a jpeg of what I’m trying to accomplish.
I don’t think it’s possible with the repeats tool. You could use a 1:1 whole note tuplet with number hidden (or the line tool) and some staff text.
Edit: Craig down there explicits the line route, probably the best one now that it exists!
I would just use a Horizontal Line. You can attach text and align just as you have from the Properties Panel. The hooks can be adjusted with the Line Editor.
