Right now, the only available options in macro or PLE only involve bypassing the inserts, which does not TRULY deactivate the plugins.
Activating “Constrain Delay Compensation” only turns off certain plugins, but not others.
I’m on Windows 11. I also tried selecting all tracks, go to the MixConsole, held down Alt + Shift, click on deactivate, but only the track I’m on, deactivates. Alt+Shift does NOT work on multiple tracks when trying to completely deactivate plugins on mass.
Would it be possible to have a “Completely Deactivate ALL plugins in project” command in the next update or future sooner updates?
One of Cubase’s greatest weaknesses in unloading of memory. Sure, 3rd-party plugin vendors can be to blame, but Cubase could have its own “sandboxing” mechanism or something in a similar vein.
