possible to have insert on control room pre inserts of stereo out?

Hello. what I am trying to accomplish is have a VU meter that is not in my stereo out signal path(as inserts on CR are) but I also want to have the VU meter to be before the limiter on the stereo out insert.

Any possibility of doing this?

You might want to rephrase this so it is less ambiguous. It sounds like you want the meter to be both IN and NOT IN the signal path. What are you trying to accomplish?

Also by "Stereo Out’ do you mean the Cubase MixConsole element named Stereo Out. Or do you perhaps mean the Output on your Audio Interface that sends sound to your speakers.
