I have a volume automation lane with several small adjustments throughout the whole track. Now, for example, I’d like to select just the chorus and lower the volume there by 3 db. What is the fastest and most efficient way to do this? All I know how to do now is to zoom in and create new automation edit points at the beginning and end of the chorus and then select all the points in the chorus and drag those down 3 db. It is not exactly precise (the automation points can move when I drag them down) and it is time consuming.
Ideally I’d like to use the range select tool to select the area and just drag down and have all the automation stay snapped in the correct time, but just go down in volume.
