Possible to set Start Record on midi input?

Is it possible to set the record to start upon the first midi input from external controller keyboard?

Hi,

I wrote a small utility, which should solve this issue. Once you send a MIDI message, DAW starts to record. The same is for an Audio (you setup a gate, once the signal on the selected input exceed the gate, DAW starts to record).

It’s still in kind of prototype state, but if you are interested, send me PM with your OS version, please. I would send you a link.
