Pre-Arming in Preset Templates

I’m currently using Cubase 5 to record my 5 piece band and generally record 18 tracks simultaneously. I have a preset for this but cannot figure out how to have all of the tracks pre-armed for recording whenever I open up the template to record a new song. I’ve tried arming all of the tracks and saving it as a template, but I find they are not armed when I open up a new song.

Can anyone tell me what’s the “secret handshake” to accomplish this?

If I’m right, Record Enable status is not part of the Template. So the easiest way is to select all tracks at once, or use own Project Logical Preset to do it at once.
