Pre-Gain slider controlled via MIDI?

As I’m setting up C8.5 on my new computer, I’m loading each plugin and adjusting the pre-gain. But many times when I switch to a new patch I need to readjust the gain slider for that particular plugin. Is there a way I can control the pre-gain with a MIDI controller?

Quick Controls can be used to control that.

thanks a lot Steve! But that means i would have to use a QC slot for every VST instrument, right?

Unfortunately, yes. This is not in the Generic Remote… If it were you would be able to configure something like: Selected; Input Filter: Pregain.

There are Feature requests regarding it…
