I have been thinking that with big projects, it takes a time to load projects.
If it were possible to have a preference function (maybe an on demand thing too), which made it so when you saved a project all tracks were frozen - without having to select all and freeze. This would mean that projects would load faster, and would have an added benefit of freezing all your tracks so no big RAM overloads. Its a trivial thing to simply unfreeze to work on a track, or even, as you work on tracks they could auto unfreeze and then freeze when another track is selected.
Something like this could have huge advantages RAM wise. We all know upgrading RAM is a big grab on the wallet these days. A lot of us are holding back.
