Preferences Folder problem... maybe?

There are some issues happening EVERYTIME I open Cubase 8.5.20 (Windows 10 PRO 64 bits):

  • “ASIO Driver Setup” prompt shows up. Yes, I had checked the “Please, don’t ask again.” box.

  • “Please take time to register your Steinberg product, […]”. But I “Already registered”… many times.

  • My plug-in collection disappears (just the collection, not the plug-ins). Only the Default collection is there.

  • “Project Assistant” shows me the “Recording” tab, not the “More” as it always did.

  • MixConsole is un-maximized.

I already tried to solve this issue by:

  • Ctrl+Alt+Shift > Delete program preferences.
  • Deleting the “AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\Cubase 8.5_64” folder.
  • Reinstalling Cubase (with updates).
  • Reinstalling Cubase (without updates).

V e r y annoying. I have no clue of what could be causing this. Anyone? Thanks :slight_smile:
