it has to be Intel because I am using thunderbolt on a PC

I would think a I7 7700k would be a good processor, coming from my I5 4460 
Sorry for the sarcasm, but to get some answers from the pro’s (I am not a pro) they need more information (for audio only, for VST-instruments…)
