I’ve found several instances in the past, and with C8P this time around, where I’ve had to delete the preferences folder and let Cubase re-build it - usually to solve one-off problems.
It’s always a pain having to remember how to do it, and having to recover it if it doesn’t solve the problem. For newbies, or those less familiar with PC architecture, it must be a nightmare.
How about a utility to save/delete/recover prefs for those of us who have to do this from time to time?
