In the MixConsol or Channel Inspector, it’s not possible to scroll down when only folders are visible. The only way to access all the contents of the folders is to click the (folder +) button. And even then, some folders and plugins remain inaccessible.
This is annoying and limiting. We should be able to scroll to any folder, select it, and access the plugin.
I can’t scroll down any further. The J37 plugin is simply inaccessible.
@Rene_L and @caubase1627384950 Are you on Macs by any chance? I haven’t encountered this behaviour on my Windows rigs (Win 10 & 11).

@Rene_L I think I can see what you’re talking about, but I can’t be sure. Would you be able to create a repro sequence so I can be sure we are doing the same steps to get the same result?

1 - Create an empty project
2 - Open the MIXConsol window in full-screen mode.
Only the Stereo In and Out tracks should be visible with the default template.
3 - Click to insert a plugin in the Inserts tab
4 - Scroll down as far as possible, until you can’t scroll any further.
From there, you can access the plugins in the visible folders. However, there are other folders under the Universal Audio folder, and these are inaccessible. Even if I click the folder + button to open all folders, a number of plugins remain inaccessible.

Strange, even though I strictly stuck to the repro sequence, I can’t reproduce this bug.
Windows 10 Pro 22H2, Cubase 15.0.30 and an old NVIDIA GeForce.
Perhaps screen resolution and scaling matters with this one?

However, this shouldn’t happen regardless of the scaling.
It doesn’t happen here even if I set the scaling to 25%. Same repro sequence.
The height of the Insert Presets window is not dynamic; it has a fixed height regardless of the number of plugins in a collection. This isn’t a problem in itself, but it should be able to adjust to the available screen space, regardless of scaling.
In my example, no inserts are being used, and the problem occurs. If I were using inserts 4 or 6, I would have access to even fewer plugins.
If you don’t have this problem, that’s great.
You might have misread my intent - I am trying to narrow the issue down in order to help.
No, I didn’t misunderstand you; on the contrary, it’s great that people on this forum are looking for solutions. While Steinberg fixes the problem, I’ll either work with the default scaling, which I find tedious, or find a workaround to continue with a scaling of +25.
For now, when absolutely necessary, I disable everything above the Inserts.
My comment wasn’t negative; on the contrary, if you’re in a situation where everything is normal, that’s perfect. It’s even enviable; it’s a situation I would appreciate right now.

What’s your screen resolution and scaling in Windows Settings?
I use 3 monitors, with scaling set to 100% (recommended) for two of them and 125% for the third. The screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 (recommended) for all 3 monitors.
