PreSonus 1818VSL, Focusrite 18i20 or another at this price

Hi,

do you have experiences with PreSonus AudioBox 1818VSL and/or Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 or another device in this price range?

Something like this is required for an iPad 2, iOS 9.3.5.

For a Linux PC I’m using a RME HDSPe AIO and an ADA8000, so it would be nice, if I could use ADAT on the iPad, too.

I already read some ADAT related forum posts, but still didn’t get enough information.

I planned not to use Behringer and to have a device that could be used with a Linux PC, too. However, for that prices the Behringer FCA1616 and UMC1820 are interesting and it doesn’t matter if they should or shouldn’t work with a Linux PC.

Still important is, if FCA1616 and/or UMC1820 work without issues with an iPad.

Does your FCA1616 work without issues and if so, what latency do you get? What iPad are you using?
