I just want to press “record” and its starts recording. I don’t also want to press “play”.
I know that its possible to do this because for some reason it switched back and forth and I don’t know why.
What is the setting?
Erm. How else would it work? Press record and it doesn’t play so it can’t record? 
For some reason I know this setting must be in Ableton. 
I thought that the “record” transport control in Cubase automatically started recording?
Disable external sync.

Conman I don’t use Live. I use Pro Tools and Cubase, and you have got problems that I’m sure I would pity.
