Hello everyone.
I’ve had a minor problem for a few years now, but I can’t seem to find an answer.
When I split an event in two, the window automatically moves and seems to position itself in the middle of the new event on the right.
This is extremely annoying because sometimes I have a lot of editing work to do in the same place, and every time I split an event, I have to reposition myself afterwards.
This didn’t happen in Cubase 4. But starting with Cubase 9, it has been happening.
I believe I can change this in the preferences, but I can’t figure out how.
Does anyone know how to change this behavior? In fact, why did the designers come up with this strange behavior, which (on reflection) makes no sense to me whatsoever? Really, none at all.
Anyway, if you have any ideas, you’d be saving me from a big little problem. Thanks and happy holidays!
