What does this “Pro Tools Editing” Preset in the Cubase Preferences do? I see a difference in cursor position and event selection, but what else exactly is changing? I have Pro Tools also, btw, and I’m used to its editing but I’m still not sure what is changing in Nuendo /Cubase editing behavior.
There are a lot of differences between my usual preferences settings and the Pro Tools Editing preset ones, on my end, mainly in the Editing category (of course…) but there are also differences in less obvious ones, such as MIDI, MediaBay or even User Interface > Color Schemes, among others.
Overall, it’s up to us to eventually build or own preferences settings, starting from either Pro Tools or previous versions of Cubase, tranposed to the present Cubase implementation.
