When copying over a plugin with sidechain information to another channel. The plugin loses it’s sidechain information. An example would be I’d copy over a synth with a compressor sidechaining to the kick to another synth. The plugin still has sidechain on but the kick is no longer in the setting. Does this happen to anyone else? Using Cubase 11

The sidechain input of the compressor is fed by an aux send on the kick channel.
This auf send just has ONE destination.
So you’re not losing the information, you just can hand it twice.
You need to select the l
Kick as SC input inside New Plugin instance, and you will see that you’ll have another send on the kick channel.
