Problem exporting audio mixdown.

Dear all,

I have been using Cubase LE AI 8 for a while now, but recently I started experiencing a problem exporting my tracks as MP3 and WMAs. I am able to export it as WAV but nothing else. And it comes up with this error message

“A serious problem has occurred: Please try to save your project under another name and then restart Cubase LE AI Elements 8.exe. If this problem persists please contact Steinberg Technical Support with a description of what you do to create this problem, and the created file C:\Users\Moniiee\Documents\Steinberg\CrashDumps\Cubase LE 8.0.10.427 64bit 2019.1.11 22.07.dmp.”

Any help will be great, and please bear with me since I’m fairly new to the game. :slight_smile:

Hi,

This crash is in the area of handling WMA.

Cubase 8 is not in the development anyway. But I would strongly recommend to install the latest Cubase 8 update, which was Cubase LE 8.0.40. Maybe the issue has been fixed during the Cubase 8 development.

If it doesn’t help, I would also recommend to try in Cubase Safe Start Mode.
