I have a strange problem.

I installed waves 9.1 but I don’t want to use it anymore, however Dorico keeps looking for the waves folder when I load Dorico. I have to cancel the search in order to use the program. Not a huge problem, but it is a bit annoying. Is there some way to stop Dorico from looking for waves au plug ins?

Dorico doesn’t look for Audio Unit plug-ins, only VST plug-ins. You could try uninstalling the Waves plug-ins via the Waves Central application.

Thank you. I solved the problem by deleting the waves. vst files.

Learned a lot in the process.
