I have been operating Cubase 6 Pro on my iMac for several years but recently purchased a new Dell XPS computer and Cubase 10.5 Pro. I wanted to work on my old files that were created in Cubase 6 on my new PC running Cubase 10.5. I purchased an external hard drive and formatted it as Exfat and then copied my Cubase files onto the new external drive. I plugged the external drive into my new PC, opened Cubase 10.5 Pro and tried to open the files . When I try to open any of the files, the message I get is “No items match your search”. I am not very technically literate and don’t really know what I am doing wrong. I can open the files back on mu iMac, no problem. Any advice. Thank you in advance for your help.
I doubt that this is a Cubase issue… there could be an incompatibility between MAC and Win, maybe…
