I had posted a question earlier tonight about losing my two licenses for Cubase SX3 and Cubase 4 after I had activated my eLicenser for a Cubase 8.5 Pro upgrade. Turned out the problem was the old machine ran windows XP Service Pack 2 and the the archived eLCC for XP requires Service Pack 3. I didn’t install SP3, but I did install Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, and the eLCC then installed and updated everything fine on the old machine. I now can once again open and run SX3 and 4 the same as always. So relieved! So glad to be moving up into modern times!
