Problem video import/9.5.30/OSX 10.10.5

Hi everyone.
After update do 9.5.30 I can’t import any video to Cubase.
When I try to FILE>IMPORT VIDEO FILE there is an information that:

Quicktime cannot be initialized. If you want to play back video, please make sure it is installed on your system.

I didn’t change anything in OSX. Only update iTunes which was in App Store.
When I roll back to 9.5.21 - everything works great.

I tried with Video_Decoder_for_Avid_DNxHD_1.1.0_Installer_mac.pkg too but nothing changed.

Do You have any similar problems?

Thanks!
J

Hi and welcome,

Do you have Cubase 9.5.21 and Cubase 9.5.30 installed side by side? If yes, try to copy the video component from Cubase 9.5.21 to Cubase 9.5.30 application, please.

It’s a wired message. Cubase is not using QuickTime video engine since Cubase 9.0.40. The message looks like the old (Cubase 9.0.30) video component is used.

Hi.
I copied video component from 9.5.21 to 9.5.30 folder and now it works

Many thanks for your help!
Jarek
