Problem with condensing a full score and losing visibilty of cues

The above is a full score in galley view and shows my notes including a piano cue after condensing clarinets A1 and A2. If I change this to page view my cue disappears and in write mode I cannot make any changes to the clarinet music. On the other hand the Piano music can be edited.

I enclose the file so you can confirm the above and perhaps explain what is happening.

condensed staves in non-Galley mode cannot be edited the same way.
which is why you wait until all of your work, or at least 99% of it, is done before doing the condensing.

Do not work FROM a condensed score at the start.
Do your work in a full uncondensed score, THEN condense it.

The reason you can edit the piano is because it is not condensed.
Your clarinets, on the other hand, have been condensed.

Regarding cues: generally speaking you do not want cues appearing in a fully condensed score.
However, if I recall, there IS an option somewhere to show cues even in the score.

Not sure if this has changed, but don’t think so.

Hi @John_McWilliam, unfortunately in this situation some manual work is still needed (Dorico 6.2.30). Here, in Flow 2, I made what you need: fake cues, written in a second voice, and some manual adjustment of the properties. This is not quite a comfortable task, if you have many cues, is only a workaround if you absolutely need cues in the score for such situations (condensing):

Result:

Dorico file example (many steps are involved, but if yous tudy the file you will possibly recognise what I did):
