Problem with cubase parameters

Hi there, just hoping someone can please help me fix this. It’s been doing this for a few months. I’m up to date with the latest version of cubase as well as with automap (incase that has anything to do with the problem) and everything persists. I’ve installed cubase 8 on 2 computers and have had the exact same problem on both. Please help

  1. Open cubase 8
  2. New project
  3. Click inserts and insert ANY cubase/stienberg plug in
  4. Cannot move parameters freely, they only move at .1 or .2 of a value each time I try to move them.

Specs:
cubase 8 64 bit
Windows 7 64 bit
Nvidea gtx 480 graphics card
Intel i7 2600 processor
Corsair 4gb RAM
UR22 audio interface
