Problem with direct monitoring in Cubase 5

Hi everybody, here’s my problem :
I’m on Windows XP sp3
I’ve got the M-Audio M-Track audio card
when i want to direct monitor my inputs in Cubase, i can see the input signal on my audio track, but there is no sound…

Someone said you need to have direct monitoring checked in Cubase preferences but i can’t

If that’s your actual screen shot, strange… I don’t see your M-Audio card listed at the very top. It says full-duplex, where I would normally see the name of my sound card…yet it shows in the I/O below :confused: I’d go back and reselect my audio card as the ASIO device.
